Meeting called to order by presidents at around 8:05 pm

-Welcome/Introductions of the Executive Boards

-Questions?

-What is Psi Chi?

   -History

   -Main purpose of the society

   -Requirements to be inducted

   -Community Service

      -Psi Chi and Psych Club work as a team (we will do a lot of activities together).

-Psychology Club

  -Main interest is Psychology

   -We do a lot for the community (Community Service).

   -Participating in this club is a great resume builder

   -We will meet once per month

-Advisors

   -Psi Chi= Dr. Pierce

   -Psych Club= Dr. Willner

-Sarah talked about how we already had an event (BBQ/Picnic)

-Jenny

   -Community Service

      -Women’s Resource Center (An awesome opportunity)

      -Project Linus (make blankets for the needy at a local church. It is VERY fun)

      -Relay For Life (Cancer Walk)

         -Charde is the Captain

         -Very fun night for a great cause

         -Meetings will start in November

      -Invisible Children

      -GRE Study Groups

      -Postsecret.com creator might come and speak later in the semester (Still in the planning stages, not final yet).

-We are also planning to get T-shirts for Psi Chi and Psych Club!

-Main goal of these two organizations is to have a successful year

   -Plan to have More Events

   -All members to form better relationships and work more as a team

   -HAVE FUN!!

-An announcement was made that Psi Chi needs a treasurer

-Tentative Meeting Times were announced

   -Exec Members= Sundays at 6pm

   -General Body Meetings= Thursdays at 8pm

-It was mentioned that Psi Chi inductions will happen sometime in November

-Dues of each organization were also announced

   -Psi Chi= $50

   -Psych Club= $15

-Meeting ended at around 8:40
